Tabitha Velazquez, née Albury, of New Port Richey, originally, The Bahamas passed unexpectedly on October 31, 2021. Known to friends and family as Tabby, all who were close to her are devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of this beautiful soul.
Born on September 2, 1988, to loving parents Kevin and Denise Albury, Tabby fills the lives of all around her with love. Tabby graduated high school from Queen’s College in 2005. Following in the footsteps of her father and brother before her, Tabby moved on to St. Leo University in 2006 where she pursued a degree in education. She successfully completed her degree and went on to dedicate her remaining years to elementary education.
It is here that Tabby met many additional friends, now family, whom she cares for deeply. And family, to those who know her, is one of the most important aspects of her life. She loves sunsets, the ocean, and seemed most at peace when frolicking in the waves. Her carefree attitude and infectious laugh will be remembered most.
Tabby is predeceased by her father, Kevin Albury, and her grandparents. She is survived by her loving husband, David, brother, Tadd, mother, Denise, and family, by marriage, David, Rachel, and Amanda; and countless more who were forever impacted by her life. A service will be held at Prevatt Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 9th at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Humane Society of Pasco County or Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue.
