Sarah Elizabeth Wilson

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sarah Elizabeth Wilson who passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at the age of 45 in New Port Richey, Florida. She was born December 2, 1979 in Derby, Connecticut.

Sarah graduated from Ansonia High School and Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's degree in Theatre. Her smile and outgoing personality led her to volunteering for the Special Olympics and serving others. Sarah’s love of God and discipleship is what led her to becoming a Pastor.

Sarah is survived by her parents, Stephen and Deborah Wilson of New Port Richey, Florida, grandmother, Joan Wilson of Wallingford, Connecticut, her sister, Lisa (Wilson) Herb, Christian Herb (brother-in-law), Austin and Steven Herb (nephews) of Naugatuck, Connecticut. godmother, Cynthia (Tobin) Beall, Clarence Beall (uncle) and Jordan Beall (cousin) of Hamden, Connecticut. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Naugatuck United Methodist Church, 208 Meadow Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770. In honor of her giving spirit her family requests that donations be made to Massachusetts Special Olympics, 512 Forest Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 or Bryantville Community Church, P.O. Box 447, Pembroke, Massachusetts, 02327 Although Sarah is no longer with us, her memory and legacy of laughter and compassion will live on.
