Robert Lee (Bob) Brady, 71 of Hudson, FL, passed away peacefully at home on August 29th.
Robert was born in Tarpon Springs, FL to Woodrow and Mary “Lucille” (Ratliff) Brady on March 3, 1950 with lineage in Pasco County dating back to the late 1800s. As a child, Robert was a member of the FFA Club. He enlisted in the Army in 1968 and proudly served in Viet Nam, receiving multiple medals and accolades.
During his lifetime, Robert had a few careers. He owned R. L Brady Tractor Service, an excavating company. He worked as a real estate agent for 27 years. He worked at Windsor Woods in HR, Marketing and Sales. He even drove a school bus for a couple of back-to-school seasons. He was a member of the West Pasco Historical Society and enjoyed woodworking. He had the pleasure of volunteering his time to many organizations over the years including: Sunshine Kids, Toys for Tots and Habitat for Humanity.
Robert believed that everyday was a gift and was deeply loved by all who knew him. His family was a tremendous source of joy, especially his bride of 50 years. He shared that if he had known grandchildren were so fun that he would have skipped children and moved right to being a Granddaddy. He will be profoundly missed by many.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; a brother, David and his wife Claire; daughter Michelle and her husband Kyle; son Chad and his wife Celia; grandchildren Alex, Sydney, Cohen, Chad, Kinsey and many other loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Lucille; brothers Tommy, Buddy, Jimmy and sister Bonnie.
