Marie Dawn "Dawnie" Tremblay

Marie Dawn ” Dawnie” (Foote) Lafayette Tremblay, 94, of Port Richey, Florida, formerly of East Barre, Vermont passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026. Born on October 27, 1931 in Burlington, Vermont to Reginald & Clara (Mitchell) Foote of Barre, Vermont. She was married in 1955 to Robert Lafayette and later to Roger Tremblay. Marie spent many years working at The Book Press in Brattleboro, VT, as well as Sprague Electric, National Life and Capital City Press. Marie loved to tend to her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed walking and playing the slots. She loved living in the Florida sunshine and spending time with family. She was a member of The First Baptist Church and the Ladies Alliance of Barre, Vt. She is survived by a daughter, Dale Robin Lafayette Eastman of Port Richey, Fl, 3 granddaughters, Amye Eastman of New Port Richey, Fl, Ashley Eastman, Hudson, FL, and Abby Buchanan and husband Brandon of Land ‘O Lakes, Fl, 3 great granddaughters, Haylee Yates, Clara Buchanan and Cathrynn Buchanan a sister-in-law Jenny Foote of New Hampshire and a brother-in-law Deryck Clark of Stuart, FL She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; Inez Lemieux of Graniteville, Lillian Clarke of Stuart, Fl, Reginald “Bud” Foote of Burlington, and Abrahm Foote of New Hampshire. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, W. Cornwall, VT.
