Gerald Kenneth Ackerman

April 9, 1937 — September 17, 2022

Jerry passed away peacefully on Saturday September 17th, 2022. He is survived by his wife Judy, son Dan (wife Amy), Sister Dorothy, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Additionally, Jerry had a special relationship with his sister-in-law Karilyn who was more like a daughter and 2 nieces and a nephew (Jennifer, John & Megan) who were a very important part of his life and more like grandchildren. He is predeceased by one son, Cliff. Jerry was a very special man whom many consider the kindest person they knew. Many knew him as a plumber (Local 98), Lifetime Member of the Masons, hockey coach, golfing buddy, or card partner; but we all knew him as a friend. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22nd, 2022, from 1 – 2:30 PM with a service to immediately follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to HPH hospice https://www.chaptershealth.org/for-volunteers-donors/personal-giving/
