Edward Anthony Skebos

Edward Skebos 94, born in North Brookfield, Massachusetts on December 8th, 1927, to Anthony and Lucy Skebos passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 8th, 2021. A longtime resident of Oxford, Massachusetts he retired to Spring Hill, FL in 1994. Edward, along with his parents owned and worked a farm in North Brookfield. After serving as a fireman in the Navy during the Korean War he worked as a foreman for a tree service until retiring in 1989. While living in Cherry Valley and Oxford, Massachusetts with his wife Marjorie he raised three children and many foster children. Ed enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Marjorie (Gustafson), daughter Nancy (John) Roche and sons David (Robin) and Mark (Debbie) Skebos, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. His eldest son Thomas (Nancy) predeceased him. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to HPH Hospice Sturgill Care Center, 12242 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34609. Arrangements are being made by Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, 3369 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill, FL 34606. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
