Douglas Alan Wheaton

Mr. Douglas Wheaton, age 70, of Hudson, Florida passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Douglas was born in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Arthur L. and Eleanor Wheaton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Guy and a brother-in-law, Donald.

Douglas will be remembered for his faith in God, for being a fighter against his illness, kindness, humor, generosity and his love for the outdoors, sport and hunting. He was a P.E. Teacher and took care of his mother for many years. Douglas touched the heart of everyone he knew.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nineteen years, Marixa of Hudson, FL. His siblings, Carol, Arthur, Terry, Jimmy and his brothers in love, Delmy and Lito, Nena, Roberto, Lidia, Marlene and all his friends.

Memorial services and burial will be in El Salvador at a later date.
