Donald P. Labadie Sr

Donald Paul Labadie Sr., a devoted Catholic, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 16, 2026, in New Port Richey, Florida.

Donald was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, where he built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and deep love for his family. He worked as an electrician for many years before retiring from the Hillsborough County Wastewater Department, where he was respected for his dedication and strong work ethic.

Above all, Donald will be remembered for his unwavering faith and the love he shared with those closest to him. He was a steady presence, a source of strength, and a man who took great pride in his family.

He is survived by his children, Sarah (Scott) Spegal and Donald (Dawn) Labadie Jr.; his six grandchildren, Noah, Adam, Zachary (Angela) Spegal, Megan (Ian) Taylor, EmmaLeigh (Javier) Ortiz, and Nikolaus Labadie; and eight cherished great-grandchildren.

Donald’s legacy of faith, love, and family will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A private service will be held in his honor at a later date.
