Charles "Chuck" Joseph Petrarca Jr., born on June 29, 1931, died peacefully on September 15, 2023,  at age 92, and has been united in heaven with parents Charles and Angelina "Julia" Petrarca, and three siblings: Doris (Asa) Smith, Irene (Frank) Prestipino-Koenig, and Joseph (Marsha) Anthony Petrarca II. He is survived by loving wife Georgia Petrarca, daughters Janine Tracchia of Florida, Denise Sparks of Kentucky, and Laura Deyarmin of Kansas.  Chuck is also survived by his sister Anne "Bubbles" (Stephen) Steinbeiser of Pennsylvania. Chuck was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to many in the community.

Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Chuck loved to play baseball and basketball during his formative years, and softball as an adult.  His love of professional sports continued throughout his life. After graduating from Altoona Catholic High School, Chuck enrolled at St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He was a veteran of the United States Army. A man with great interpersonal and communication skills, Chuck established a career in advertising, marketing, and sales in various regions of the United States.
