In Loving Memory of Tony Montanari Sr.September 23, 1970 – June 8, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Tony Montanari Sr., age 54, on June 12, 2025, in New Port Richey, Florida.
Tony was born on September 23, 1970, in Marlborough, Massachusetts, to Alfred and Beverly Montanari. He was raised in Marlborough, where he built a life rooted in strong family values, loyalty, and a joyful spirit. In 2021, Tony relocated to New Port Richey, Florida, where he embraced the warmth of the sun and the serenity of coastal living.
Tony was a one-of-a-kind soul who left lasting impressions on everyone he met. Known for his infectious laughter and sense of humor, he always knew how to lift spirits and bring joy to those around him. Whether through a well-timed joke or a simple act of kindness, Tony’s presence was a comfort and a source of strength to his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved son, Anthony Montanari Jr., his daughter-in-law, Brittany Arno, and his cherished grandchildren, Olive and Marco Montanari, who were the lights of his life. Tony also leaves behind his loyal dogs, Boston and Sammie, who brought him endless companionship and joy.
Family meant everything to Tony. He dedicated his heart and his time to being an extraordinary grandfather—his love, patience, and devotion to his grandchildren were unmatched and will forever be remembered. He was someone his family could always count on, no matter the circumstance.
Tony had a passion for life and found happiness in the simple things. He loved riding his bike, spending days at the beach, watching UFC events, and nurturing his love for plants as a horticulture enthusiast.
Tony was taken from us far too soon, and the hole left by his passing is immeasurable. He is deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express.
A celebration of Tony’s life will be held at a later date. In honoring his memory, we ask that you remember the joy he brought into your life, the laughs you shared, and the love he gave so freely.
Rest in peace, Tony. Your spirit lives on in all of us.
