Adolf Conrad Hense, age 83 of Hudson, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Adolf was born June 29, 1939 to Adolf and Alice Hense in Bay City, Michigan. He and his wife have lived in Florida for 22 years.
He was a Marine veteran. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service as General Forman. Adolf was involved in many organizations including the Moose Lodge where he achieved the highest merit award of Pilgrim. Along with being the Moose Lodge administrator for 11 years he was also involved in many of the charity fundraisers. He was recognized by the Moose Lodge for having sponsored over 250 members. He was also an avid member of the American Legion and VFW. He was a born leader and an inspiration to others.
He was preceded in death by his son, Adolf Conrad Jr. and brother Wilhelm Hense, and is survived by his wife of 62 years Jeannette Hense and sister Maria Gonser-Fry (Jack), sons Kurt (Tiffany), Karl (Karen) and their daughter Kirsten (Kenneth). They had 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren with one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was loved by all that knew him and we were all blessed to have had him in our lives.
